http://pedagogi.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pedagogi/article/view/2294

Abstract

Undergraduates’ acceptability and attitude towards CBT as the general mode of testing in undergraduate programs were considered in this study. The survey research design was adopted; the population consists of the students in the Faculty of Education at the University of Benin. A sample of 200 was drawn from the total number of students by random sampling. The instrument – Students Attitude and Acceptability of the CBT Scale- was used for data collection, it was developed by the researchers, and the instrument had a reliability coefficient of .076 and .082 for sections B and C respectively. Descriptive statistics (Mean and Standard Deviation) were used in answering the research questions while inferential statistics (t-test and ANOVA) were used for hypotheses testing. All statistical data analysis were done using the IBM-SPSS statistical package version 20. Findings revealed that the students have positive Attitude towards the CBT and the level of acceptability of the CBT was found to be high. However, there was no significant difference in the attitude and acceptability by sex, but there was a difference in acceptability by area of study whereas there was none in attitude. It was recommended among others that CBT be introduced as the general mode of testing in the undergraduate programmes except otherwise, in areas where it is not practicable.
Amen Valentine UyigueFriday EGBERHA, Dr.

http://pedagogi.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pedagogi/article/view/2496

This study explores students' perspectives on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 45 Economics Education students at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The analysis results show that 60% of respondents believe AI enhances learning efficiency, while 55.6% support its development in economic education due to its benefits for job readiness. However, concerns exist that reliance on AI may reduce critical thinking skills (62.2%) and only minimally support student collaboration (62.2%). These findings provide insights for the development of AI-based educational tools, though they are limited to a specific student group. Further research is recommended to include a larger and more diverse sample to gain a broader understanding of students' perceptions of AI in education.
Hariyanto S. http://pedagogi.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pedagogi/article/view/2420

Keristian DahurandiFajar Arianto

Education is a crucial foundation in building the progress of a nation. The main challenges in education in Indonesia include quality, equity, and relevance to the needs of the times. The reflective pedagogy paradigm emerges as an innovative approach that integrates experience, reflection, and action in learning. This study aims to explore the implementation of this paradigm at SMP Strada Marga Mulia Jakarta to improve the quality of education. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The focus of the research is to uncover experiences, perceptions, and challenges in implementing this approach. The findings show that the application of the reflective pedagogy paradigm successfully enhanced students' critical thinking, analytical skills, and character. Learning activities involving case studies, simulations, and reflections created an interactive and meaningful learning environment. Students became more active, creative, and capable of linking theory to everyday life practices. However, challenges included teacher readiness, limited time, and resources. SMP Strada Marga Mulia addressed these constraints with regular teacher training, adjustments to the learning schedule, and the provision of supporting facilities. This study concludes that the reflective pedagogy paradigm can be an effective solution to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. With full support from all stakeholders, this approach has the potential to produce a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also possesses strong character and the ability to face life's challenges. The experience of SMP Strada Marga Mulia Jakarta can serve as a model for other schools in adopting a similar approach.
Antonius Happie Susatio Jalu Kusmoro

http://pedagogi.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/pedagogi/article/view/2411

This article discusses commenting on the characteristics of Vietnam and Indonesia art education curricula based on colonial influences, post-socialization economic reforms, and local cultural values. Vietnamese art education was influenced by the French art program, which began in the later decades of the nineteenth century and adopted a fine arts education program. In contrast, the Indonesian art education program started in the early part of the twentieth century and reflects the Dutch style of art education that highly valued applied arts/crafts. This study explores the reciprocal relationship between economic growth and the development of art education in both countries. Through a historical-comparative approach, this study highlights how socio-economic transformations have shaped arts education policies and practices. Moreover, it assesses the contribution of art education in developing the creative economy. It suggests measures for the improvement of art education so that it can promote sustainable cultural and economic development. Based on the results of this study, it is possible to successfully combine such local features as Bale culture with foreign art education curricula to create a solid foundation for financial culture in the region via art education.

Keywords: curriculum, art education, Indonesia, Vietnam
Tri Cahyo KusumandyokoCondro WiratmokoWinarno WinarnoMartadi MartadiTrisakti Trisakti

This study aims to analyze the development and impact of project-based chemistry learning with the STREAM approach integrated with halal values through bibliometric analysis. The method used is bibliometric analysis based on metadata from Publish or Perish (PoP) mapped using VOSViewer. The database was collected using Google Scholar over the last ten years. The analysis results show that despite fluctuations in the number of publications, there is an increasing research trend on this topic, especially in recent years. Data visualization indicates several main clusters depicting the relationships between these concepts. In conclusion, integrating halal values in chemistry learning with the STREAM approach not only enhances students' motivation and engagement but also develops their critical and creative thinking skills, providing valuable guidance for educators in implementing this approach to create a more inclusive and relevant learning environment.
Fitri Yati Sa'diahTri Wahyu AgustinaTri Cahyanto

Non-formal education has a strategic role in increasing access to learning for people who are not covered by the formal education system. One of the main challenges in Package B learning at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City is the low involvement and understanding of students in the Indonesian language material. This study aims to explore the implementation of Padlet digital learning media in increasing the involvement and understanding of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation analysis. The results of the study indicate that the use of Padlet increases the involvement of students through more active interactions, dynamic discussions, and the use of content in various formats that support conceptual understanding. However, the study also found several obstacles, such as limited internet access and lack of digital literacy. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen technological infrastructure and training for tutors and students to ensure the effectiveness of using Padlet in learning. This study recommends a blended learning approach as a solution to overcome limited access and improve the learning experience of Package B residents more comprehensively
Ismaniar IsmaniarRachma Shofy Arnur
